Following on from Saturday’s 1-0 win over Cammel Laird, John Haseldin will be hoping for more of the same as the Wellmen get more minutes under their belts ahead of the forthcoming season. Some players who weren’t available Saturday return for the match and all will be hoping to impress the manager with places up for grabs.

Greenfield will come to Halkyn Road on the back of a 3-1 defeat to New Brighton Villa on Saturday and will be looking to put that result out of their system. Last season, Greenfield had a few ex Holywell Town players in their squad and I’m sure they will be looking to have a good game on their return to Halkyn Road.

Despite being just over a mile apart, the game between the sides is the first in a long time and hopefully there will be a good crowd to see the match as local pride will be at stake for the winner.

Then match kicks off at 7.30pm and the clubhouse will be open from 7.00pm for your pre-match pint.
