Holywell Town picked up 3 points against Llanfair United in this evening's game at Halkyn Road.

The Wellmen couldn't get going in the first half and fell behind a few minutes before the break when the dangerous James Davies scored despite Mike Platt getting a hand to the ball.

Holywell Town's Phil Lloyd got the Wellmen back on level terms on 63 minutes, when his strike from a Steve Thomas cross went into the back of the net, with the keeper getting a touch to the ball but was unable to keep it out.

Town's winner came on 74 minutes when an error by the Llanfair defender saw the ball fall to Connor Littler who raced clear and fired home past the keeper to give the Wellmen the lead.

The score remained 2-1 to the Wellmen who returned to winning ways following Saturday's 1-1 draw against Cefn Druids, and the Wellmen will be hoping for 3 more points on Saturday as Caersws visit Halkyn Road for a 2.30pm kick off.
