The Reserves go into Wednesday night's last game of the season knowing victory would see them crowned Champions.

The lads face Coedpoeth United Reserves at Halkyn Road for the second time in less than a week after facing Wednesday's opponents on Saturday, where the Wellmen ran out 4-0 winners.

On the scoresheet for the Wellmen on Saturday were Wayne Edwards, Nathan Williams, Jack Gibbons and Jay Wilkes. Eddie Barry will be hoping all four will be on the scoresheet again on Wednesday and despite beating Coedpoeth last weekend, the lads will know it won't be easy and will keep their cool and be professional in getting the three points.

Wayne Edwards said ahead of the game, "One last push on Wednesday Holywell Town Reserves, Hope to see some support at the game for this great group of lads, and to Eddie Barry and his staff, get yourself to Halkyn Road to cheer us on!"

Satruday's victory meant that the Reserves had clinched promotion into the Reserve Premier Division. After a spell of disappointing results over the past couple of weeks, the Wellmen thought the chance of being crowned champions had slipped away, with Penycae sitting on top of the league, but with Holywell coming back into form, and Penycae slipping up at Llay last week, it meant that the Wellmen could still be crowned champions with victory on Wednesday, where if they were able to do that, would see them clinch the league by one point from Penycae.

Kick off on Wednesday is 7.30pm and it promises to be a cracker, so remember, victory on Wednesday would see the lads crowned champions of the WNL Reserve & Colts League, so lets hear your cheer the lads onto victory.

Come on the Town!!
