The Wellmen through to Round 3 of Welsh Cup after 6-0 win over Llanrhaeadr Ym Mochnant.

"Good result for the lads today, into the next round we go!"
- Connor Tagoe

The game was only a minute old when the Wellmen took the lead through Shaun Tuck and despite dominating for large periods of the half, the Wellmen had to wait until the 43rd minute to increase their score when Sam Jones finished off a great move to give the Wellmen a two goal lead at the break.

The second half started where the first left off with Town dominating, and the 3rd goal came on 57 minutes when Matty Harvey prodded home at far post from a Paul Williams cross. Tuck grabbed his second on 63 minutes, chipping the advancing keeper before Graeme Williams got Town's 5th, volleying home from Tucks cross. Tuck completed his hat trick in the final 10 minutes, picking himself up to score from the spot after being brought down by the visitors centre back.

The Wellmen lost Jonathon Jones midway through the first half after a clash with a Llanrhaeadr player which saw him taken to hospital for stitches to a nasty head wound.

It was a convincing performance by the Wellmen who will look forward to Monday's draw for the next round.
