Matty Hurdman has signed for the Wellmen from Welsh Premier League side Cefn Druids.

"He has a great pedigree and plenty of experience for a player of his age"
- John Haseldin - Manager

With chances limited at Druids, once Hurdman knew Hasledin was interested in him, he jumped at the chance to sign for the Wellmen.

Hurdman, who has also played for Bangor City in the Welsh Premier, brings with him a wealth of experience to our squad, having both Welsh Premier and Europa League experience with former clubs.

Hurdman first signed for the Druids after being released by Bangor City in 2010, and after a spell in New Zealand, he returned to The Rock and helped the Ancients win the Huws Gray Alliance in 2014. After a season at Caernarfon Town, Hurdman returned to Druids and help them gain promotion to the Welsh Premier League.

Manager John Haseldin added, "I’m delighted to be able to bring Matty to the club, he has a fantastic range of passing and understanding of the game. We feel he’ll bring an extra bit of quality needed to open up defences in tight games which we often get at this level."

"He has a great pedigree and plenty of experience for a player of his age. He’s trained with us the last few weeks and fitted in really well with the lads. He’s desperate to get back playing and will come straight into the squad for Saturday's derby away at Buckley Town."

Saturday's match kicks off at 2.30pm at Buckley Town's Globe Way Stadium.
