The Wellmen make the long journey to South West Wales to face Hakin United with a place in the Semi Final at stake.

Holywell Town will be looking for a victory to book their place in the semi final of the competition they won back in 2010/11. After the excellent 5-1 win over Gresford Athletic in the previous round, John Haseldin's men travel to Hakin full of confidence buoyed by last week's 3-1 win over Llandudno Junction to reach the Final of the Cookson Cup.

Holywell Town welcome back Sam Jones into the squad after he missed the last 3 matches following been sent off at Glan Conwy last month and Steve Thomas is back after his long spell on the sidelines due to injury. Thomas came on as sub last week against Junction and came through the game with no side effects and will be in contention to be in the starting 11 on Saturday.

Manager John Haseldin told the Evening Leader, "I made the mistake of looking on the map, we thought Gresford was tough but this is something different altogether. Everyone is really up for it though, some teams play these long away games and are beaten before they step on the bus but that's not us at all."

John also added,"We're going down the night before and staying a few miles from their ground. When the draw was made, we had the full support from the Chairman and Committee and its great they have given us the chance to do it the right way. We will stay over on Friday and have breakfast together and prepare properly in order to give ourselves the best possible chance."

Hakin United play in the Pembrokeshire League Division 1 and were league champions in 2012/13. Hakin United currently find themselves top of the League having played 19 matches and won 16 of the matches played, and losing the other 3. Hakin go into the game on the back of a 3-1 away win over St Clears last week.

Speaking of the opponents, Haseldin said, "They are top of their league and are used to winning so we know it will be hard work, but we are confident of creating more history".

Saturday's match kicks off at 2.00pm and those unable to go can find match updates on our Twitter page as it happens.

The other semi finals see Llandudno Junction entertain Abergavenny Town, Glantraeth face Penlan and Penrhyndeudraeth are at home against Llanberis. If the results go a certain way, all 4 teams in the Semi Final could be from the Welsh Alliance League......all will be known come teatime on Saturday.

Good luck lads.......you can do it!
