With the game just 22 minutes old, the game was abandoned by the match referee with Town 4 goals up against Llandudno Junction.

The match referee Mike Gray paused the game after Town's 4th goal so Groundstaff could work on the problem area in the centre circle. Groundstaff, coaching staff, Committee Members and even supporters came on the pitch to assist putting sand down to eliviate the problem, but their valiant efforts were dashed shortly afterwards as the match was abandoned, much to the disappointment of everyone.

The game started well for Town, with Steve Thomas getting on the score sheet after only 3 minutes, as his shot was only partially parried by goalkeeper Ryan Woods, and ended up in the back of the net via the post.

Town's supporters had only just finished celebrating Thomas' opener when Steve Lewis increased their lead a minute or so later, heading home from a high ball into the penalty area. Three minutes later, it was 3-0 as Sam Jones fired home through a crowded penalty area after Junction's defence were unable to clear the ball, and from the resulting goalmouth scramble, Jones was on hand to fire the ball home.

Lewis then had a goal dissallowed for being in an off side position but added his second and Town's 4th of the game on 20 minutes, Sam Jones' excellent flick on see's Lewis clear on goal, and his brilliant chip over the advancing keeper saw the ball fall into the net to put the Wellmen four goals to the good, before the game was abandoneb shortly afterwards.

The game will now be rearranged in the next few week's and will be announced as soon as we know via our social media accounts and website.

To finish, the club would like to thank the Supporters who came onto the pitch before and during the game to help with the work that Coaching Staff and Committee Members were doing to possibly let the game continue, you know who you are and the club are extremely gratefull for your efforts.
