Wellmen travel to The Rock for their first away game of the season.

Saturday will also see the first time the Wellmen have played at The Rock and are really looking forward to it.

The Ancients moved to The Rock in 2010 after their former Palskynaston ground was turned into a supermarket as part of the deal. The ground has a 3000 capacity stadium and a 500 seat stand down one side of the pitch.

Fresh from last week's draw against League favourites Caernarfon Town, The Wellmen will be looking to add to that point and pick up their first win of the season. The Wellmen will once again have Steve Lewis upfront and hopefully he will get his first goal of the season.

Town will still be without Phil Lloyd who is a couple of weeks away from returning after picking up an injury in the pre-season friendly against Wrexham, and John Leonard and Stuart Hayes are unavailable. Ross Ankers sits out the second of his two match ban and will also miss out. Captain Tom McElmeel returns to the Rock to play against his former side and Town's faithful hope he can put one over his former side.

Cefn Druids picked up 3 points in last weekend's game against league newcomers Gresford Athletic and Town know it wont be easy against the side relegated from the Welsh Premier League last season.

The Wellmen are expecting a good following tomorrow for the 2.30pm kick off and directions to the ground is as follows:

From the A483 Junction 1, take the roundabout towards Ruabon / Llangollen. At next roundabout turn left onto the B5605. In approx. 1 mile, turn right into Brook Street and follow round to Church Street, then turn right into Rock Rocas and the ground can be found on the left.

Distance: 32 miles Time: 35 minutes

Postcode: LL14 3YG

The Wellmen look forward to seeing you all there cheering on the lads and hopefully cheer us on to victory! See you there............

Coincidentally, Holywell Town Reserves face Cefn Druids Reserves at Holywell's Halkyn Road ground and John Gilbertson's side will be looking to improve on last Wednesday's defeat at the hands of FC Nomads Reserves. That match kicks off at 2.30pm and anyone not travelling to Rock are invited to Halkyn Road to cheer the lads on.
