The Club are pleased to announce that Ben Lewis has been appointed the new manager of the Reserve Team.

Ben will be assisted by the experienced Eddie Barry and both will be looking to get the season back on track after a run of three defeats during the past month.

The new appointments come a few days after John Gilbertson stood down as manager earlier this week. The Club would like to go on record to thank John for his efforts over the past two and a half years and wish him well for the future.

With the Reserves game this weekend postponed due to no officials available, Lewis’ first game in charge will be next Saturday away at Ruthin Town Reserves. Lewis is no stranger to the Reserve Team having played for them under Gilbertson and will know the players really well and know how to get the best out of them.

Lewis said, “I’m excited and proud to be a part of helping to carry on moiving this great club forward. There’s a feel good factor around the club which has fantastic support. I’m looking forward to helping the young players as they progress and aim for the first team.
I would like to thank John Gilbertson for his hard work and commitment and I’m also looking forward to working closely with Johnny and all the team, both on and off the field, and I’m really looking forward to our first game.”

The Club would like to welcome Ben and Eddie as the Reserve Management Team and wish them good luck in their new positions.
