Town got an early lead through Luke Tyson before Graeme Williams headed home midway through the half. Phil Lloyd saw his fierce shot rattle the crossbar before inform Tyson added a 3rd just before the break to put Town well in command.

Corwen pulled one back in the latter part of the second half but Sam Jones grabbed Town's 4th with a great free kick with a few minutes to go.

Incidentally, it was Town's first goal at the Town End since the new goal posts were put up a couple of weeks ago.

Next up for Town is the awaited friendly with GAP Connahs Quay on Tuesday evening at Halkyn Road. Kick off 7.30pm.
