Two new additions join the Wellmen on Transfer Deadline Day

Holywell Town have today signed Ceri James from Cymru Alliance side Porthmadog and Paul 'Willow' Williams from nearby Greenfield.

Midfielder James, who is the son of Assistant Manager John James, has been at Porthmadog since 2012 and has Welsh Premier League experience having represented Porthmadog and Welshpool in the WPL. He has also played for Llandyrnog United, Denbigh Town and had a spell playing for Melville United in New Zealand.

Paul Williams (pictured), needs no introduction to Holywell Town's supporters after playing for the club for a number of season's prior to the current season where he played for Greenfield in the Welsh Alliance Division 2. 'Willow'. Midfielder Willow has great vision from the centre of the park and excellent passing and was voted Player of the Season a couple of years ago.

Manager John Haseldin added, "Its great to be able to sign both these players as their experience will be invaluable for us as a team for the remainder of the season. On behalf of Holywell Town FC, I would like to welcome both to the club and would like to thank both their previous clubs for their assistance and help in getting the transfers processed ahead of the transfer deadline day."
